WPAcquire is operated by WPCenter Yazılım Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“WPCenter”, “we”, “us”). By using wpacquire.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.
What WPAcquire is
A marketplace where people list WordPress businesses for sale: plugins, themes, WooCommerce stores and content sites. The figures are public; the identity of the business goes to paying members.
We are not a broker and not an escrow. We are not a party to any sale that happens after two people meet here, we do not hold anyone’s money, and we take no commission. What you agree with the other side, and how you paper it, is yours to arrange.
Accounts
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person or company, one account.
Listing a business
By submitting a listing you confirm that you own the business or are authorised to sell it, and that the figures you give are true and can be evidenced.
We read every listing before it is published. We will ask you to back up the numbers, usually from the dashboard they come from, and we may ask questions, edit obvious mistakes, decline a listing or take one down. We do not publish anything we do not believe.
Do not put the brand name, the URL or your contact details in the public fields. That is what the private fields are for.
A listing stays up until you sell, you pull it, or we remove it. Tell us when it sells so we can mark it.
What we check, and what we do not
We read the write-up, go through the figures with the seller and ask for evidence before publishing. That is a review, not an audit. We do not verify ownership, inspect accounts, test claims about traffic sources, or guarantee that any figure is correct.
If you are buying, do your own due diligence before you pay anyone anything.
What it costs
- Listing a business: $49.99, once, per listing. It is free while we are getting started, and a listing added during that period stays free afterwards.
- Buyer membership: $49.99 a year, which opens the business name, the URL and the seller’s email address on every listing.
- Commission: none, on either side, ever.
Payment is taken by Freemius, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record and issues your receipt. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax Freemius is required to add where you are.
Refunds
We do not give refunds. That covers a listing fee, a first membership and every renewal of one, and it applies whether or not you have used what you paid for.
Everything a membership buys is on the site the moment you pay, and everything a listing fee buys is work we start the same day, which is why we ask you to be sure before you buy rather than after.
There are two things this does not cover. If we decline to publish your listing, or take it down for a reason that is not a breach of these terms, you have paid for something you never received and the listing fee is returned in full. And nothing here takes away a right the law where you live gives you and does not let you sign away.
Renewals
A membership is a year, and it renews by itself for another year unless you cancel. Freemius emails you before each renewal at the address on your account.
Cancel from the receipt Freemius sent you, or write to hello@wpacquire.com and we will do it for you. Cancel before the renewal date and you are not charged. Once a renewal has been charged it is not refunded, and the year you have paid for runs to its end.
Contacting a seller
A membership shows you a seller’s email address so you can write to them about their listing. That is the only thing it is for. Collecting addresses, passing them on, or sending anything unrelated ends the membership without a refund, and we will say so to anyone who asks us about you.
Your content
What you write stays yours. By listing, you give us permission to show it on the site and to use extracts of the public part of it to promote the marketplace. You confirm you have the right to everything you upload, including screenshots.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site, do not try to get at listings you have not paid for, do not upload anything unlawful, and do not misrepresent a business. Any of these ends the account.
Liability
The Service is provided as it is. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error free, that a listing will sell, or that a buyer or seller will behave well.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that follows from a transaction between two users, for lost profit or lost opportunity, or for indirect losses. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim: a listing fee, a membership, or both.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspension
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we can remove a listing at any time. Where a listing is removed for something other than a breach, the listing fee is refunded.
Changes
These terms may change. We will update this page and the date at the top, and anything material also goes out by email to accounts.
Law
These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
